The BENEFICE WALK from Hargrave to Hawkedon or part thereof is for all of us. We can talk to our neighbours and appreciate the fantastic Suffolk countryside. It is not about speed but the beauty of life. Walk a short distance or more. You do not even have to walk! Join us at local churches or village halls or Rookery Farm for a drink and nibble including light breakfast at Hargrave or BBQ lunch at Rookery Farm. Toilet facilities available en-route. You need to tell us you are coming otherwise you won’t get a nibble!
See the grid and map for the route and times walkers will be at churches/village halls/Rookery Farm. Refreshments will be available at these times.
The walk is mainly off public highways and uses public footpaths and private land with permission of landowners and farmers.
Please carry the map with you. Dogs to be always under control. Alternative routes are available where needed to avoid dogs disturbing animals.
Attention and care should be taken when climbing stiles and crossing public highways.
